Production Process in Isfahan SAFA Company

Since the basis of production work is cold roll shape forming and the most raw materials as hot steel rolled coils.

All raw materials in Isfahan SAFA Company is supplied by Mobarakeh Steel Company. Isfahan SAFA Company because it is located next to the accredited Sepahan Company warehouse load that SAFA possess exclusive railway & it is also located next to the Isfahan East Terminal, that it is use to load and discharge raw materials because of special geographical situation.

Import of Raw Materials & Discharge

Initially hot steel rolled coils weighted regarding with dimensional specification & their application. So they are stored in warehouse after getting new code till coils transfer to slitter process on specified time and finally recoiled after cutting.

Cutting Equipment

Coils have been arranged by slitter equipment and cut into strips with specified width.

in the event that it is need to sheet producing ,width strips or sheets have been implemented with favorite lengths and then they are packed after final Q.C card and register into internal automation and they are arranged in store.

Mostly cutting producing lines including feeding equipment, coil carriage wagon,coil holder,uncoiler,strip guided roller equipment ,sides system controller, straightening of strip,guilutin, guided strip equipment, strip feeding rollers,Cutting main section, Holder arm,finally recoiler.

So cut strip recoiled transfered in coil holder equipment that the equipment has been a rotation movement itself.coil holder is activated by the driver ,which it is turning and then circumferential and transverse strips be opened,the head of strip is guided into straightening roller. The action is caused to flattering and straightening cut strip.

Production Process pipe and profile

the head sheet is slitted by guilutin ,so that welding process doesn't cause problems in pipe rolling and profile stands,therefore cut strip is guided by feed driver pipe and profile rollers, generally the whole machine making pipe line sections including coil holder, guilutin &cutter head and tail of strip coil,welding section related to head & tail strip coil,accumulator or looper,Forming section included breakdown roller ,HF welding machine for adhering by welding double edge , Triming of external weld reinforcement &it is also trimming of internal weld bead, quenching as heat treatment for cooling pipe,sizing section,en coder& turkhead roller,pipe flying cutter, kicker arm as throw it way and packaging section.

According with various design ,it is possible to have different names and sections but what is important to make pipe machine possess the same roller stands that each stand has been assembled dies, which meanwhile cut strip is crossing in between dies the sheet has formed itself belong the same rollet stand.

So regarding to designer opnion the final shap formed pipe is ready for welding process operation after crossing cut strip in between same dies and finally two edge is approach togather .mostly final pipe shape is formed itself via crossing eight driver stand and some idler stand.

Dies stand has been connected by journal shaft&gearbox into main driver that install horizontally and the idlers is also installed that assist to pipe shape. Two edge be approached by welding system &with assist of inductor on pipe circumstances ,pipe edges and impedes located inside of pipe the heat is collected on two approach edge and it is squeezed with assist welding dies.

Whereas the HF (ERW) method is used to adhere two edge by welding cut sheet itself ,so the weld reinforcement is removed or trimmed by installed chisel.

If it is needed to trim to internal weld bead by internal operation shall be removing carefully ,then the pipe produced shall be cooled and transfer to soap water pool as Z1 liduid that is use to cool or quenching weld area as heat affected zone (HAZ) cooled too much.

Sizing stands will be also shaped pipe size more precisely compare to forming stands just only deference is in dimensional of pipe prodduced ,because of pressure applied ,the pipe produced in sizing section is caused by distortion and bent defects.

Troubleshooting will be implemented in the last sizing stand by use of turkhead roller before cutting ,so after all above mentioned ooeration ordered length will be cut by fly saw.

Moreover, the whole pipe producing operations will be implemented continusely .
